She is a recognized Water and Sanitation professional responsible for strategic decisions for WaSHVoice.
Elizabeth developed her skills in water and sanitation sector through hands-on experience, peer to peer learning, sector knowledge management among others activities. Established and served as the first Corporate planning and monitoring department head for Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company, worked as organizing committee member for many national and international conferences. A graduate of Sanitation Global Graduate School IHE Delft Water institute, she is passionate about proper WaSH management through appropriate policies and standards.
She designed and founded the Women in Water and Sanitation Association (WIWAS). She also served as Secretary General, partners liaison, and fund raising director. She is a recognized pioneer member of Africa Water Association (AFWA) professional women caucus. Actively participated in nature conservancy and green campaigns for water and sanitation. Dynamically contributed to water service provider’s association in developing strategic plans. Participated in development of Kenya water sector improvement plan in various capacities among many notable achievements.
Elizabeth holds an Msc Degree in Sanitation from IHE Delft Institute of Water Education, BA in sociology and economics, and a Diploma in Surveying and Mapping. She has several certificates in water and sanitation planning, and management.
